Medical First Responders

Residents can have their vital signs taken: Pulse, Blood Pressure, Blood Glucose, Oxygen Levels, Temperature) and patient history.

This information will be written on a paper Patient Care Report (PCR) that can be shown to the health professionals at the Expo and their personal medical team. The PCR will leave with the resident.

KIDS ZONE

Designated Kid Zone where children can enjoy activities in a safe and entertaining environment.

What is the event all about?

The 2024 Community Wellness Expo will promote good health practices and introduce families from Balgonie, Pilot Butte, Village of Edenwold, RM of Edenwold, and the Town of White City to the local healthcare community.

Why should I attend?

This is your chance to meet area doctors, first responders, firefighters, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and other wellness experts. Learn more about getting fit and eating better. Find out about the options that are right here in your neighbourhood.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes! We are planning to have a kid's zone, with bouncy castles and a BBQ!

Will there be food options available?

Yes. We are planning to host a BBQ and have snacks available too.

Is there a schedule for the day?

This is a come-and-go event. There will be some introductions and quick presentations taking place at 10am and then again at 1pm, but it’s okay if you can’t attend at that time. Stop by anytime!

Is there any cost to attend?

This a FREE event with local doctors, nurses, etc on hand to share good health tips to keep you happy and smiling.

There is a small cost for a hotdog at the BBQ – with funds going towards making the expo an annual event.

Is the event all in person or is there a virtual component?

This is an in-person, live event.

Who is running this event?

This is truly a community event! A wide range of health experts in the area banded together to create this unique event that crosses all municipal boundaries. We appreciate the support of all the local professionals, sponsors and area businesses for being a part of this venture.
